Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Ja'Kobi Lane is expected to undergo wrist surgery that will sideline him for about a month, sources told CBS Sports' Matt Zenitz.
Lane left Sunday's win over the Indianapolis Colts in the first half and didn't return. He was reportedly later diagnosed with a fractured wrist, and the team wanted to run more tests to determine the full extent of the injury.
The third-round rookie finished the contest with one catch for 11 yards. Through the first two quarters, Lane's 16 routes run were second on the team among wide receivers, according to TruMedia.
Baltimore also lost wideout Zay Flowers in the first half due to a hamstring injury. Head coach Jesse Minter told reporters Monday that Flowers is day-to-day, but his status for Week 2 remains unclear.
The 26-year-old shined before exiting the contest, recording five catches for 150 yards - the most by a player in the first half of a game since 2024 - and a touchdown.
The Ravens' offense posted 506 yards against the Colts, which is more than Baltimore managed in any game last season. The club will look to improve to 2-0 when it faces the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
