The Arizona Cardinals and veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett agreed on a revised contract that increases his compensation for 2026, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.
Brissett's new one-year deal includes $15.5 million in guaranteed money and carries a maximum value of $21 million with incentives, Schefter adds. The veteran is entering the final year of his contract.
Despite not having a reworked contract when camp began earlier this week, the 33-year-old elected not to hold out or hold in. Brissett practiced Thursday during the team's first session of camp.
After making 12 starts for the Cardinals last year, Brissett was looking for a pay increase that reflected a starter's salary. He completed 64.9% of his passes for 23 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2025.
Brissett has a career record of 20-45 with 76 touchdowns to 32 interceptions.
Gardner Minshew, Carson Beck, and Kedon Slovis are projected to be behind Brissett on the Cardinals' quarterback depth chart.
The Cardinals enter the upcoming season under first-year head coach Mike LaFleur. The team went 3-14 last year and hasn't finished with a winning record since 2021.
