NFL playoff predictions: Who will win Super Bowl LX?

Julian Catalfo / theScore

The NFL's postseason has finally arrived, with the wild-card round kicking off the festivities Saturday. Our football editors offer their predictions for each playoff round, all the way through Super Bowl LX.

AFC wild-card round

Our editors overwhelmingly expect the Texans to extend their nine-game win streak when they close out the first round of the playoffs against the Steelers. The other two matchups are less clear-cut. The Bills and Jaguars split the panel with four votes apiece, while the Chargers narrowly edged the prolific Patriots.

NFC wild-card round

The Rams looked mortal down the stretch, but our editors are confident that L.A. is poised for a healthy playoff run. The Bears may have whimpered across the finish line, yet it's their resiliency that'll carry them past the Packers in our books. We expect the reigning champion Eagles to advance their title defense.

AFC divisional round

Justin Herbert has battled through a hand injury, but four editors predict the Chargers will reach their first AFC Championship Game since 2007. Several editors also project the Bills to make their second consecutive AFC title appearance. New England earned three votes to get through this round. The top-seeded Broncos have convinced only two editors that they'll get out of the divisional round.

NFC divisional round

We're just as excited as Seahawks fans about the club's potential to return to the NFC Championship Game for the first time in nearly a decade. A potent Rams unit also garnered considerable support. The Bears picked up a pair of votes to advance to the NFC title game for the first time since 2010. And a few of us believe the Eagles will get a chance to defend their NFC crown.

AFC Championship Game

Our editors couldn't come to a consensus on who will represent the AFC in Super Bowl LX. Half of our panel envisions either Houston or Jacksonville earning their first Super Bowl appearance, while the other half is going with Buffalo or New England.

NFC Championship Game

History could repeat itself for the Rams. Los Angeles defeated an NFC West rival to clinch its berth in Super Bowl LVI, and most of our editors are confident that Sean McVay's team will punch its ticket to another Super Bowl. Shockingly, the Eagles received only one pick to get back to the Super Bowl.

Super Bowl LX

Our Super Bowl predictions include two selections for the Rams to win their second title with Matthew Stafford. The Bills also drew a pair of votes to finally hoist the Lombardi Trophy. Additionally, Seattle earned two picks to take home the franchise's first championship since the 2013 season. A victory on Feb. 8 would see New England win its seventh title, while the Jaguars would secure the franchise's first.
