Judkins suffers dislocated ankle, fractured fibula
Cleveland Browns running back Quinshon Judkins dislocated his ankle and fractured his fibula during Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Buffalo Bills, head coach Kevin Stefanski announced postgame, according to ESPN's Daniel Oyefusi.
Judkins, who will undergo surgery, suffered the injuries while being targeted on a swing pass out of the backfield in the second quarter. He was carted off after the play.
The Browns drafted Judkins in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. He had an impressive rookie year, entering Sunday with 805 rushing yards and seven touchdowns.
He finished the contest with 22 yards on eight carries and five catches for 29 yards.
Once Judkins exited, the Browns relied on Raheim Sanders, who rushed for 42 yards on 11 attempts.
Dylan Sampson projects as Cleveland's top backup running back moving forward, though he's missed the last two games due to injury.
