Notre Dame running back Jeremiyah Love announced Tuesday that he's declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.

"I know I am prepared for this moment because of the amazing people I have in my life," Love said in a statement.

Widely considered the draft's top running back prospect, Love is projected to go in the first round after enjoying a standout career with the Fighting Irish.

The junior tailback topped 1,100 rushing yards and 19 scrimmage touchdowns in each of the past two seasons. He set career highs on the ground with 1,372 yards and 18 TDs in 2025 while averaging 6.9 yards per rushing attempt.

Love was a Heisman Trophy finalist this year and finished third behind Fernando Mendoza and Diego Pavia.

Love stands out due to his physical ability as a rusher. He's also a threat in the passing game with 63 receptions for 594 yards and six touchdowns in 41 appearances at Notre Dame.
