The Chicago Bears are signing former Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Grady Jarrett, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Jarrett's deal is for three years and is worth $43.5 million, including $28.5 million guaranteed, Schefter adds. Jarrett is the Bears' latest defensive acquisition, after edge rusher Dayo Odeyingbo.
The Falcons released Jarrett earlier Monday, which saved the club $16.25 million in cap space.
Jarrett had been with the Falcons since they drafted him in the fifth round in 2015. The 31-year-old registered 53 total tackles, including nine tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks, this past campaign. Jarrett was named a Pro Bowler in 2019 and 2020.
