Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty will only participate in medical evaluations and team evaluations at the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine, his agent told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.

Jeanty will work out on the field during Boise State's pro day instead.

The highly touted running back isn't the only top prospect expected to bypass combine drills. Colorado passer Shedeur Sanders reportedly won't throw at the event either.

Jeanty had a 2024 campaign for the ages, rushing for a staggering 2,601 yards and 29 touchdowns. A Heisman finalist, Jeanty fell just short of the FBS single-season record of 2,628 yards, which Barry Sanders set in 1988 with Oklahoma State.

Jeanty is expected to be the first running back selected in the 2025 draft.

The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine begins Feb. 27 and ends March 2.
