Philadelphia Eagles pass-rusher Nolan Smith played through a torn triceps he suffered during the Super Bowl LIX victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report.
Smith reportedly underwent surgery Wednesday and is expected to be ready for the 2025 season.
The 24-year-old totalled 30 defensive snaps in the win over the Chiefs and registered two quarterback hits.
Smith was a crucial part of the Eagles' daunted pass rush during their Super Bowl run. The Georgia product notched four sacks and four quarterback hits in the postseason.
Drafted in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, Smith only recorded one sack as a rookie before tallying 6.5 sacks in 2024.
