The Seattle Seahawks placed running back Kenneth Walker on injured reserve, which will end his regular season, the team announced Thursday.
Walker is dealing with an ankle injury. The running back could return if the Seahawks make the playoffs and win their first two games.
Walker finishes with 573 yards and seven touchdowns on 153 carries (3.7 yards per carry) over 11 games this regular season.
Zach Charbonnet is expected to carry the load with Walker out. Charbonnet has rushed for 453 yards and eight touchdowns this season.
The 8-7 Seahawks are currently outside of the playoff picture.
