Browns' Jeudy: I want to go to Denver and 'whip their ass'
Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jerry Jeudy didn't mince his words ahead of his return to Denver to face the Broncos on Monday Night Football.
"My feelings? I just want to go back up there and whip their ass," he said this week, according to 9NEWS' Mike Klis.
Jeudy requested a trade from the Broncos before and after the 2023 season because he wanted a change of scenery. Denver sent him to the Browns in March.
"I wasn't satisfied with how (the Broncos) were using me," Jeudy said at a press conference Friday. "I felt I had to go somewhere else to really showcase what I'm about."
He also noted that while he didn't have the game circled on his calendar, he was "very excited" to face Sean Payton and his former teammates.
Jeudy has 45 receptions for a team-high 645 yards and two touchdowns this season. He's recorded 24 catches for 379 yards and a score since Jameis Winston replaced the injured Deshaun Watson as the starting quarterback Oct. 27. Jeudy is on track for a career-high 997 receiving yards.
The Browns are 3-8 and last in the AFC North.
