San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle is inactive for Sunday's game against the Seattle Seahawks due to a hamstring injury, the team announced.
Kittle was listed as questionable coming into the contest after being a limited participant in practice Thursday and Friday.
It's the second time this season the five-time Pro Bowl tight end's been sidelined due to a hamstring injury after also missing the team's Week 3 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.
With Kittle down, Eric Saubert is the next man up at tight end for San Francisco. Saubert's caught four passes for 67 yards this season.
Kittle is the 49ers' leading pass-catcher with a team-high 43 receptions, 560 yards, and seven touchdowns.
