The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired wide receiver Mike Williams from the New York Jets for a 2025 fifth-round pick, the team announced Tuesday.

Williams had reportedly been on the trade block since New York landed Davante Adams in a deal with the Las Vegas Raiders in October.

The 30-year-old signed a one-year, $10-million contract with the Jets this offseason. He spent the first seven years of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Chargers after entering the league as the seventh overall pick in 2017.

Williams has played 53% of the Jets' offensive snaps this season, hauling in 12 receptions for 166 yards and zero touchdowns. He's posted two 1,000-plus-yard receiving seasons, most recently in 2021.

The Clemson product joins a Pittsburgh wide receiver room that includes George Pickens, Van Jefferson, and Calvin Austin.

The Steelers face the Washington Commanders on Sunday.
