The New York Jets placed wide receiver Allen Lazard on injured reserve due to a chest injury, the team announced Thursday.
Lazard will miss at least the next four games. He'd already been ruled out of Thursday's contest against the Houston Texans and didn't play in the Jets' Week 8 loss to the New England Patriots.
The 28-year-old Lazard ranks third on the team in targets (44), second in receiving yards (412), and first in touchdowns (five). He's played 87% of the Jets' offensive snaps.
Davante Adams, Garrett Wilson, Xavier Gipson, Mike Williams, and Malachi Corley are the remaining wide receivers on New York's depth chart.
