Cowboys activate Bland off IR
The Dallas Cowboys activated cornerback DaRon Bland off injured reserve Wednesday, the team announced.
Bland missed the team's first seven games after undergoing surgery to repair a foot fracture.
The 25-year-old was a first-team All-Pro in 2023 after setting a new single-season record for pick-6s (five) and leading the NFL in interceptions (nine) and interception return yardage (209).
Bland has totaled 14 interceptions and 22 pass deflections in 34 games since being selected in the fifth round of the 2022 draft.
Dallas' defense ranks 26th in yards allowed per contest (372.6) and 31st in points surrendered per game (28.3) this season. The unit has only forced five turnovers, tied for the fifth-fewest this year.
The Cowboys head to Atlanta to take on the Falcons in Week 9.
