Adams would love to play with Brady: 'Better than half these dudes' in NFL
Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams would love to play with Tom Brady no matter how old the seven-time Super Bowl champion may be.
"Hell, yes," Adams recently said on "Club Shay Shay" hosted by Shannon Sharpe when asked about Brady.
Brady turns 47 in August. But his age is just a number to Adams, who added he'd play with Brady even at age "58."
"Tom knows how I feel about him," the star pass-catcher said. "The other part is, I think I'd be the first person that played with Tom and Aaron (Rodgers), so that would be pretty cool.
"I mean, he's getting older, but he's still got to be able to throw it better than half these dudes in the league at this point."

Adams - who played most of his career with Rodgers - has had five different starting quarterbacks since Las Vegas acquired him from the Green Bay Packers as part of a 2022 offseason trade. Las Vegas started Derek Carr and Jarrett Stidham in 2022 and turned to Aidan O'Connell, Jimmy Garoppolo, and Brian Hoyer throughout the 2023 campaign. Las Vegas could have a different starter in 2024, as O'Connell is expected to compete for the QB1 role with Gardner Minshew at training camp.
Brady has had his name linked to the Raiders on multiple occasions, and Las Vegas showed interest in the legendary passer during his playing career. Brady retired from football in February 2023 after 23 remarkable NFL seasons.
In May 2023, Brady agreed to terms on a deal with the Raiders to become a minority owner in the team. The sale has yet to become official, but NFL commissioner Roger Goodell recently said the deal is making progress. Once the NFL and team owners approve Brady's purchase of the Raiders, he'd need votes from 24 owners to allow him to play for the club.
Brady said in April that he would be open to coming out of retirement to play in the NFL again if the right team calls and the league allows it. He specifically mentioned the New England Patriots and Raiders as hypothetical landing spots.
