Oddsmakers peg Kaepernick, Manziel as favorites among ex-NFL QBs to join XFL
Following Wednesday's announcement of the eight XFL host cities, several former NFL quarterbacks have been given odds to land in Vince McMahon's rebooted football league.
BetOnline.ag lists Colin Kaepernick as the favorite to join the XFL at +100 odds, followed by Johnny Manziel (+200), Tim Tebow (+500), Michael Vick (+1000), and Brett Favre (+10000).
McMahon mentioned Tebow as a possible XFL candidate during a press conference in January, but the quarterback-turned-New York Mets minor-leaguer said at the time that he hadn't given any thought to the idea.
XFL players will be banned from expressing political or social stances during games, making it unlikely that Kaepernick will be interested in joining the league.
McMahon has also said that players with criminal backgrounds - including DUIs - won't be allowed in the XFL, which seemingly rules out Manziel.
