Dog owners are uniting in an effort to convince Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield and insurance company Progressive to pull a commercial they say is terrorizing their pets.

In the ad, Mayfield is seen wandering around FirstEnergy Stadium searching for a beeping smoke alarm.

The beeping has become an issue for a lot of dog owners, prompting one person to launch a petition on Change.org to put a stop to the commercial. Progressive, Mayfield, and the NFL are all named.

"Every.single.time that this commercial comes on, I have to start singing/screaming as loud as I can, while simultaneously looking frantically for the remote to change the channel, in an attempt to drown out the faint smoke alarm beep at the beginning of the commercial that sends two of my three dogs into a fit of terror," the petition reads. "The beeping only gets louder as the commercial drags on, so my screaming can only mask the first couple of beeps."

Many people have also taken to Twitter and the YouTube comment section to complain.
