No. 7 LSU could be without quarterback Sam Leavitt against No. 8 Ole Miss on Saturday.
Leavitt is listed as doubtful with an undisclosed injury on the Tigers' initial report ahead of the top-10 clash, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Leavitt went 25-for-38 for 344 yards with one touchdown and three interceptions in a 45-14 win over Louisiana Tech on Saturday. He took five sacks. Leavitt added 22 yards and three touchdowns on the ground on 11 carries.
The game is LSU head coach Lane Kiffin's first game back at Ole Miss. Kiffin left the Rebels to take the LSU gig just before their debut in the College Football Playoff in November.
It's the first top-10 matchup between the teams since 1962.
If Leavitt is unavailable, LSU could turn to Elon transfer Landen Clark. The redshirt sophomore has played in both of LSU's games this season. Clark is 7-for-10 with 109 yards and one touchdown. He also has seven carries for 42 yards and a touchdown.
