Singleton, Allen returning to Penn State for senior season
Star running backs Nicholas Singleton and Kaytron Allen both announced on Monday that they'll return to Penn State for their senior season.
"It's clear that we still have a lot more to accomplish as a team, "Allen posted on social media.
The Nittany Lions led the Big Ten with 202.3 rushing yards per game. Singleton and Allen shared the backfield and each rushed for over 1,000 yards in 2024, helping Penn State make a run to the CFP semifinal round.
Both tailbacks were coveted members of Penn State's 2022 recruiting class.
"After discussing my football future with my family, I have decided to return to Penn State for the 2025 season," Singleton posted on X. " We still have goals we want to reach as a team, and I want to be alongside my teammates as we reach those goals."
Penn State will get back both starting tailbacks and quarterback Drew Allar, who also announced his intention to delay declaring for the NFL draft for one more season.
