LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier announced Wednesday that he'll return to the Tigers for the 2025 season.
"My time at LSU is not over," Nussmeier announced in a video on X. "... I'm fully committed to bringing this university a championship."
Nussmeier became LSU's QB1 this season after serving as Jayden Daniels' backup in 2022 and 2023. He finished the 2024 campaign with a 63.7% completion rate to go along with 3,739 yards and 26 touchdowns against 11 interceptions. His 313 completions and 491 pass attempts led the SEC.
The Tigers had a promising 6-1 start this year before losing three in a row. Brian Kelly's outfit finished the campaign 8-4, including 5-4 in SEC play.
