Texas' star offensive tackle Kelvin Banks Jr. won't play Saturday against Georgia due to an ankle injury, according to Bob Ballou of CBS Sports.
Redshirt freshman Trevor Goosby is expected to start in the SEC championship game in Banks' place.
Banks exited the game in the first quarter of his team's win over Texas A&M last week and didn't return. He's been listed as questionable on the SEC injury report leading up to Saturday's contest.
The 20-year-old is projected to be a first-round pick in the upcoming NFL draft. He's allowed just one sack and six pressures in 418 pass-block snaps this season, according to PFF.
Banks has played in 39 contests during his three-year tenure with the Longhorns.
