Milroe responds to Riddick's trash talk: 'I don't even know who that is'
Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe isn't bothered by Auburn linebacker Demarcus Riddick's trash talk ahead of Saturday's Iron Bowl.
"I don't even know who that is," Milroe said Tuesday about Riddick, according to alabama.com's Matt Stahl. "Let him talk. It's a part of it."
Riddick didn't hold back when discussing Alabama on Monday, calling the Crimson Tide "really beatable" and saying that Milroe would struggle to get away from the freshman linebacker.
Milroe has tallied 2,396 passing yards, 15 touchdown passes, and nine interceptions this season. He's also rushed for 615 yards and another 17 scores.
Riddick has posted 25 total tackles, five tackles for loss, and three sacks.
Alabama holds a 50-37-1 record over Auburn in the historic rivalry matchup and has won the last four meetings since 2020.
The Crimson Tide enter the Iron Bowl with an 8-3 record and a 4-3 SEC mark. The Tigers, on the other hand, are 5-6 overall and just 2-5 in conference play this season.
