Fans looking to attend Saturday's showdown between Texas and Texas A&M may not have much luck scoring cheap tickets.
Secondary marketplace TickPick announced Monday that the rivalry game is expected to be the most expensive regular-season ticket in college football and NFL history, with the average cost of a ticket sitting at $1,079.
The cheapest ticket on TickPick was $705 as of Tuesday afternoon, while tickets on Ticketmaster and Vivid Seats were as low as $581 and $527, respectively.
Saturday's game at Kyle Field will be the first matchup between Texas and Texas A&M since 2011, when the Aggies left the Big 12 to join the Southeastern Conference. The Longhorns made the move to the SEC this season.
Texas leads the all-time series 76-37-5.
