Oregon wide receiver Tez Johnson avoided a season-ending injury when he hurt his shoulder in Saturday's win over Michigan, sources told ESPN's Paolo Uggetti.
Johnson isn't expected to need surgery, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel. He reportedly could return in the coming weeks.
The wideout had his right arm in a sling after exiting Saturday's game.
Johnson is the Ducks' leading receiver this season with a team-high 64 receptions, 649 yards, and eight touchdowns.
Oregon is off to a 9-0 start and is first in the latest AP Poll.
