Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green was ejected from Monday's game against the Phoenix Suns after receiving two technical fouls due to a sequence that included him throwing Suns center Khaman Maluach to the floor.

Green jostled with Phoenix forward Dillon Brooks afterward, leading to the second technical foul.

Green appeared to be retaliating after Maluach bowled him over while trying to establish position in the post.

This is the first time Green has been tossed from a game this season. He was ejected from multiple contests last season.

The 36-year-old had four points, four boards, two assists, and one steal in 17 minutes before his exit. The Warriors went on to win, picking up their fifth consecutive victory.

Green, a four-time All-Star, entered Monday's game averaging three points, 5.2 boards, and 7.2 assists.
