Indiana Pacers head coach Rick Carlisle expects Tyrese Haliburton to miss at least two weeks with a "mild" left hamstring strain, he told reporters Wednesday, per NBA insider Marc Stein.

Haliburton's hamstring appeared to be giving him trouble in the second half of Monday's loss to the Milwaukee Bucks, though he still scored 22 points in 35 minutes.

The 26-year-old has appeared in four games this season after missing the entire 2025-26 campaign due to a torn Achilles. He's averaged 21.8 points and 9.5 assists in 33 minutes per game.

Haliburton is the latest NBA star to be sidelined for an extended period. Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves), Kawhi Leonard (Toronto Raptors), Jalen Williams (Oklahoma City Thunder), Paolo Banchero (Orlando Magic), and Jaren Jackson Jr. (Utah Jazz) are among those who have sustained significant injuries in the first eight days of the season.

The Pacers (2-2) host the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday.
