AJ Dybantsa and the Washington Wizards won 92-88 Thursday against the Utah Jazz and Darryn Peterson in a Summer League battle between the top two picks in the 2026 NBA Draft last month.

Dybantsa, who went first overall, posted a game-high 27 points with seven boards and two assists.

The 19-year-old wasn't on the floor in the dying seconds after being removed with leg soreness.

"Nothing crazy. I'll be back," Dybantsa said postgame regarding the injury.

Peterson, the No. 2 selection, scored 24 points of 6-of-18 shooting. He also added three rebounds and three assists.

This was the Las Vegas Summer League opener for both teams. The Jazz participated in Salt Lake City Summer League last week, going 3-0.
