The Boston Celtics are signing big man Neemias Queta to a four-year, $76-million contract extension, his agent told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Boston picked up Queta's $2.7-million team option for next season and added four fully-guaranteed years through the 2030-31 campaign, adds Charania.

By exercising Queta's option, the Celtics have enough financial flexibility below the first apron to sign ex-New York Knicks center Mitchell Robinson, according to ESPN's Bobby Marks.

Robinson is reportedly set to join Boston on a three-year, $47.4-million contract.

The Sacramento Kings selected Queta with the No. 39 overall pick in 2021. He was waived by the Kings in September 2023 and subsequently signed a two-way contract with Boston.

Queta had a breakout season in his first campaign as the Celtics' starting center, averaging 10.2 points, 8.4 boards, and 1.3 blocks across 76 appearances in 2025-26.
