Ayo Dosunmu is signing a five-year, $112-million contract to remain with the Minnesota Timberwolves, sources told ESPN's Shams Charania.

Dosunmu's new deal will include a player option for the fifth season, adds Charania.

Dosunmu joined the Timberwolves in a February trade from the Chicago Bulls and became a critical piece of Minnesota's playoff rotation. He averaged 21.8 points, four assists, and 54.5% 3-point shooting in five first-round games against the Denver Nuggets, including a career-best 43 points in Game 4.

Over five seasons, Dosunmu owns career marks of 11.1 points, 3.3 assists, and three rebounds while shooting 38% from beyond the arc. However, he hit 43.9% of his threes last season between the Bulls and Wolves, setting a personal best over a campaign.

The Timberwolves opened money for Dosunmu by agreeing to a three-team trade that will send Julius Randle to the Brooklyn Nets. Randle was on the cap for $33 million in 2026-27 and was a focal point of the Timberwolves' offense for the last two years.
