San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama is considered day-to-day with a rib contusion after an MRI on the All-Star came back clean, sources told Prime Video's Chris Haynes.

The Spurs officially listed Wembanyama as doubtful for Wednesday's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The 7-foot-4 big man must play 20 minutes in at least one of San Antonio's remaining three regular-season contests to meet the 65-game minimum and maintain eligibility for end-of-season awards. The favorite for Defensive Player of the Year and an MVP candidate, Wembanyama has appeared in 63 regular-season games. However, the NBA Cup final loss to the New York Knicks on Dec. 16 also counts toward award eligibility despite not being recorded as a regular-season game.

The 22-year-old Frenchman is averaging 24.8 points and leads the league in blocks at 3.1 per game in his third season. He's also recording 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, and 1.0 steals per contest while posting shooting splits of 51/35/82.5.
