Free-agent guard Cam Thomas has agreed to a contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, his agents confirmed to ESPN's Shams Charania.
Thomas became a free agent after being waived by the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. The 24-year-old previously accepted a $5.9 million qualifying offer with the Nets last summer after the sides couldn't agree to a new deal.
"My next team is getting elite scoring, good playmaking, and a good combo guard," Thomas recently told Andscape's Marc Spears.
Thomas averaged 15.6 points in 24 appearances this season (eight starts) with Brooklyn but missed 20 games due to a left hamstring strain.
Thomas' addition gives the Bucks a versatile weapon in their rotation after the NBA trade deadline. Milwaukee opted to keep star Giannis Antetokounmpo despite rumblings of a possible move prior to the Feb. 5 deadline.
