The All-Star Game will look different this season, with the league abandoning its East-versus-West setup in favor of a tournament-style format. Four teams of eight will each play three games throughout one night. One of the four teams will consist of the winner of the Rising Stars Challenge - the matchup between first and second-year players.
Games will end after the first team scores 40 points.
The NBA will announce the 14 other All-Star players next week.
The All-Star Game is scheduled for Feb. 16 in Golden State. The Rising Stars event will be played on Feb. 14.
