LeBron James has a new sneaker on the way.
The Los Angeles Lakers star posted a photo on his Instagram story Friday of his upcoming signature shoe, the Nike LeBron 22, after it went through a wear test.
A release date for the LeBron 22 has yet to be announced, but Victor Deng of Complex reports that the sneaker is expected to drop during the holiday season with a price tag of $180 USD. The previous iteration of his signature shoe was released in September 2023.
James is facing some uncertainty ahead of his 22nd NBA season, as he must decide whether or not to exercise his $51.4-million player option. He has until June 29 to opt in and stay with the Lakers or opt out and become an unrestricted free agent.
