Baylor guard Davion Mitchell will hire an agent and declare for the 2021 NBA draft, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.
Mitchell is a projected lottery selection in this year's draft. ESPN ranks him as the No. 12 prospect.
He was one of the Bears' most important players during their run to the national championship. Mitchell led Scott Drew's squad with 5.5 assists per game during the regular season while ranking third on the team in scoring with 14.1 points per contest.
The junior finished with 15 points, six rebounds, and five assists during Monday's NCAA Tournament final against Gonzaga, helping Baylor secure its first national title.
The 2021 NBA Draft is scheduled for July 29.
