NBA Tuesday player props: Fade Kemba Walker, bet Trae Young

Russell Westbrook and Moses Brown were both held under their point totals, Devin Booker easily cashed his rebound prop, and we started the week on the right foot with a 3-2 Monday night.

Let's keep the momentum rolling for Tuesday's eight-game slate. Here are my five favorite props.

Kemba Walker under 2.5 made threes

Walker has never shot better than 40% from three in his 10-year career. He's converting triples at just a 34.9% rate for the Celtics this season and is on pace to finish with his worst clip since 2014-15. He's oddly averaged 8.4 attempts across his last eight games, converting just 32.4% of them.

The 76ers allow the fewest made threes per game (2.35) and the second-worst shooting percentage (40.76%) in the league to opposing point guards. Philadelphia has also held each of its last six opponents to the team total under as a road favorite, making Walker a solid fade Tuesday.

Trae Young over 35.5 points + rebounds + assists

Young's numbers are down virtually across the board compared to last year, but his team is surging. The Hawks occupy the No. 4 seed in the Eastern Conference and are in a good spot against a Pelicans team that's likely looking ahead to a prime-time matchup against the Nets on Wednesday.

Young, who didn't play against New Orleans a few days ago, has been held under his point total prop in four of the last five (we were on the winner!). But this as good a spot as any for him to bust out of his slump: The Pelicans are bottom five in the league in rebounds, 3-pointers, and field-goal percentage allowed to point guards, and they allow the eighth-most points.

Find a Young prop, take the over, wash, rinse, and repeat.

Saddiq Bey over 1.5 assists

The Pistons won't be very attractive from a fantasy or prop perspective, but Bey has a decent matchup here against the Nuggets.

Denver's defense surrenders the fourth-most assists per made field goal in the league (0.653), while Detroit's offense - which ranks just No. 25 in scoring - quietly records the fourth-most assists per bucket.

The rookie has smashed this total in eight of his last 11 and should cruise past this short number.

Nikola Vucevic under 1.5 made threes

Vucevic has already made an impact through his first five games with the Bulls, scoring 20 points or more in four of them and registering a pair of double-doubles. I'm fairly neutral on his overall matchup against the Pacers, but I'll gladly go under on his 3-point total.

The versatile center can stretch the floor; the only issue has been capitalizing. Vucevic is shooting just 28.6% from the perimeter after posting clips of 36% or better in three of his last four seasons. He's attempted more than four triples just once so far with Chicago and draws an Indiana defense surrendering the fourth-fewest makes per game to centers.
