It's expected the NBA will reschedule the June 25 draft to early September, sources told The Philadelphia Inquirer's Keith Pompey.

There have reportedly been discussions about switching the draft and the start of free agency on the league calendar. Traditionally, the NBA draft has been held in June after the Finals, with free agency beginning in early July.

It's anticipated the league's board of governors will also discuss during a conference call Friday moving back the start of free agency, according to Pompey.

However, NBA commissioner Adam Silver has informed teams that there won't be a formal vote on any proposed plans to resume the 2019-20 season during Friday's call, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
