An unspecified member of the Denver Nuggets organization tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Thursday.
The person was tested March 16 after experiencing symptoms based on guidance from public health officials and team physicians. They are currently in self-isolation.
The team didn't confirm whether the person is a player or whether the person was part of the team's travel party prior to the season being put on hold. The Nuggets' most-recent three games were at the Cleveland Cavaliers on March 7, home against the Milwaukee Bucks on March 9, and at the Dallas Mavericks on March 11.
