Serbian superstar Nikola Jokic received a double technical and an ejection for complaining about a non-call in the third quarter against Spain.
Jokic was furious with the physicality of his Spanish counterparts, aggressively arguing his case with the official before being sent packing for the remainder of the game.
Serbia trailed Spain by 12 points when Jokic received the ejection, eventually losing 81-69 to fall to 4-1. Spain remains undefeated through Round 2 of the tournament.
Both teams had already secured a spot in the quarterfinals entering Sunday's action. Serbia will face the unbeaten Argentines while Spain will take on Poland on Tuesday.
Jokic exited the game with six points and five rebounds in 17 minutes of play. He's averaging 12 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.8 assists through five appearances thus far.
