White says he won't join Trump administration

UFC CEO Dana White doesn't plan to take a role in U.S. President-elect Donald Trump's new administration - nor does he intend to get into politics at all.

"Donald Trump is one of my very good friends," White told Sports Business Journal's Adam Stern through a spokesperson. "He did a great job in his last term as president, and I know he will do an even better job the next four years. I have no personal political aspirations."

Trump defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election earlier this week and will return to the White House for a second term in January.

White was among Trump's biggest public supporters during his latest campaign. White was with Trump on election night and addressed the crowd during the victory celebration early Wednesday in West Palm Beach, Florida.

During his speech, White thanked longtime UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, who endorsed Trump earlier this week after the candidate guested on his podcast in October.

Trump has appeared at several UFC events, including June's UFC 302 in New Jersey.
