Robert Whittaker will face Bogdan Guskov in the UFC Fight Night co-main event Feb. 6 in Sydney, the promotion announced Sunday.
Whittaker, a former middleweight champion, will compete at light heavyweight for the second time since moving up to the division earlier this year. He scored a third-round TKO win over Nikita Krylov at UFC 329 in July in his 205-pound debut.
The 35-year-old Australian suffered back-to-back losses to Khamzat Chimaev and Reinier de Ridder in 2024 and 2025, respectively, prompting the change in weight classes.
Whittaker, who was born in New Zealand but grew up and resides in Sydney, will fight in front of his home fans for the first time since November 2014.
Guskov is coming off a fifth-round TKO loss to Magomed Ankalaev in the UFC Abu Dhabi main event in July. The 34-year-old holds a 4-2-1 record in the promotion with four finishes.
A lightweight bout between surging Australian contender Quillan Salkilld and Benoit Saint Denis is scheduled to headline UFC Sydney.
