Milwaukee Brewers right-hander Quinn Priester will undergo thoracic outlet decompression surgery and is expected to miss 8-10 months.

Priester will have his first rib removed as part of the procedure, according to Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

The 25-year-old hopes to return quicker than the given timeline, and his goal is to be ready for spring training.

Priester hasn't pitched for the Brewers this season following a terrific 2025 debut campaign in which he authored a 3.32 ERA with 13 wins.
