Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. was removed from Saturday's game against the Colorado Rockies due to left hamstring tightness.
Acuña will undergo an MRI on his left leg to determine the extent of his injury, manager Walt Weiss said following the Braves' win over Colorado, according to Chad Bishop of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Weiss did not have a firm update on his superstar's condition.
Acuña grounded out to shortstop in the top of the second and came up limping as he ran up the line while clutching the back of his left leg. Eli White replaced him in right field to start the bottom of the frame.

Acuña hasn't played more than 95 games in a season since his 2023 MVP campaign. He missed most of 2024 with a torn left ACL, then was limited to 95 games last year because of an Achilles injury.
The 28-year-old was enjoying a solid start to his 2026 season, hitting .252/.362/.378 with two homers, nine RBIs, 20 walks, and seven steals across 152 plate appearances. Acuña's played in all 34 of the Braves' games so far.
Atlanta finished play Saturday with MLB's best record at 24-10.
