The New York Yankees want to reunite with Cody Bellinger and have made a formal offer to the 30-year-old outfielder, reports Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

Bellinger enjoyed a strong season with the Yankees during his debut campaign with the club in 2025. The two-time All-Star and former NL MVP slashed .272/.334/.480 with 29 home runs, 98 RBIs, and 13 steals while appearing in 152 games.

He also played terrific defense, recording 12 defensive runs saved in the outfield.

The Yankees have been fairly quiet this offseason, mostly adding depth pieces, but bringing back Bellinger has reportedly been a priority.

Bellinger has a strong market outside of the Bronx, with the crosstown New York Mets, Los Angeles Dodgers, and San Francisco Giants all reportedly showing interest in him this offseason.
