The Baltimore Orioles and right-handed pitcher Zach Eflin agreed to a one-year contract with a mutual option for 2027, the team announced Monday.

Eflin's deal is for $10 million, reports Jon Heyman of the New York Post.

Eflin, 31, spent the previous season and a half with the O's after being acquired from the division-rival Tampa Bay Rays prior to the 2024 trade deadline.

The righty posted a 5.93 ERA and 5.64 FIP over 71 1/3 innings this past season while missing time due to back injuries.

"These guys wanted me back after missing all those starts and having an arm injury and having a back surgery," Eflin said Monday, according to MLB.com's Jake Rill. "I get a chance to go back and show what I really am. That's what I'm really excited for."

Over his 10-season career, Eflin possesses a 4.28 ERA and 4.13 FIP in 188 starts and 12 relief appearances.

Eflin rejoins the back of an Orioles rotation led by Trevor Rogers, Kyle Bradish, Dean Kremer, and newly acquired Shane Baz.
