Washington Nationals catcher Kurt Suzuki left Game 5 of the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers after a Walker Buehler fastball hit him in the wrist and ricocheted into his face.

Suzuki was on the ground for several moments before leaving under his own power.

Backup catcher Yan Gomes pinch ran and took over behind the plate.
