The Connecticut Sun are looking overseas in the 2026 WNBA Draft, selecting French forward Nell Angloma with the No. 12 overall pick.
Angloma plies her trade for Basket Lattes Montpellier Agglomeration in France. She also represented the country at the FIBA Under-19 World Cup, where she led the team in scoring.
She projects to play on the wing in the WNBA courtesy of her high-level athleticism and slashing ability, which translate into high-percentage scoring opportunities. Angloma arguably has the best first step in this draft, although there are some questions about her shooting mechanics. She doesn't turn 20 until June, making her an ideal draft-and-stash candidate.
