The final round of the U.S. Open has resumed after a 99-minute weather delay at Oakmont Country Club.
Heavy rains and lightning moved into the area around 4 p.m. ET, forcing officials to blow the horn and pull the players off the course.
Sam Burns continues to lead by one stroke over Adam Scott with the final group on the eighth hole. Viktor Hovland and Tyrrell Hatton are tied for third and sit three shots behind Burns.
The course took on an excessive amount of water during the delay that could present some challenging conditions to the players the rest of the way on Sunday.
