Nick Taylor edged Charley Hoffman on the second playoff hole to win the Phoenix Open on Sunday.

Taylor forced extra golf with a birdie on the 18th hole, then birdied both playoff attempts to seal the victory. He fired an impressive 65 for the day and finished the event at 21-under.

"The finish was pretty dreamlike, and hitting all those putts was a lot of fun," Taylor said, according to The Associated Press. "The atmosphere was incredible all week."

Taylor's victory is the fourth of his career and first since last year's Canadian Open. He's the fifth Canadian to have four TOUR triumphs and joins Mike Weir as the only other Canuck to have multiple playoff wins, according to Sportsnet Stats.

He was also the runner-up at TPC Scottsdale in 2023.

Hoffman, who hasn't won a TOUR event since 2016, led the event by three at one point. He recorded a final-round 64 to put himself in a position to win before Taylor's late surge.

Sam Burns, Scottie Scheffler, and Sahith Theegala were all in contention but settled for top-five finishes. Jordan Spieth, Adam Scott, and Cameron Young were among the other notable players in the top ten.

The TOUR heads to Riviera next week for the Genesis Invitational, headlined by Tiger Woods' season debut.
