Following a tough week in Brookline, Massachusetts, that saw the best 72-hole score only go as low as Matt Fitzpatrick's 6-under, the TOUR now heads to TPC River Highlands, where Jim Furyk shot a 58 in 2016.

Despite the challenging four rounds at the U.S. Open, Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, the world's top-two golfers, are still teeing it up this week for the Travelers Championship.

When: June 23-26

Harris English grabbed his fourth career PGA TOUR win and second of the season after an exciting eight-hole playoff against Kramer Hickok. Their battle was only the seventh time a playoff had gone eight or more holes in the TOUR's history.

Marc Leishman finished alone in third, one shot short of the playoff at 12-under. Abraham Ancer, a recent LIV Golf commit, placed fourth at 11-under. Five players, including Brooks Koepka and Kevin Kisner, tied for fifth at 10-under.

English, who returned to the TOUR at the Memorial Tournament earlier this month after undergoing hip surgery in February, will defend his well-fought Travelers title.

Five of the world's top-10 golfers are joining English, including Scheffler, McIlroy, and No. 5 Justin Thomas. Other top players in the field include Xander Schauffele, 2017 winner Jordan Spieth, and Tony Finau.

Cole Hammer, part of the Texas Longhorns team that claimed the NCAA title on June 1, is making his professional TOUR debut at the Travelers Championship. Many TOUR professionals launched their careers at this event, including Viktor Hovland and Matthew Wolff in 2019.

The course

TPC River Highlands is a 6,852-yard, par-70 course and one of the shortest on TOUR.

Pete Dye redesigned the course in 1982. It underwent a second renovation in 1989 by Bobby Weed, with TOUR players Howard Twitty and Roger Maltbie serving as consultants.

Holes Nos. 15-17 play around a four-acre lake on the course, making it one of the more challenging stretches through the 18 holes.
