Tiger takes home over $2M for Masters win
Tiger Woods will be leaving Augusta National on Sunday with more than just the green jacket, as the five-time champion will receive over $2 million for his latest victory.
The total prize pool for this year's event was $11.5 million, with Woods claiming $2,070,000 for his one-stroke victory. It's quite the difference from the first time the 43-year-old won the Masters, as the prize for his 1997 title was $486,000.
Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Xander Schauffele will each net $856,667 for their three-way tie for second, while Jason Day, Tony Finau, Francesco Molinari, and Webb Simpson are $403,938 richer after sharing fifth place.
